THE REACH PROJECT
Coming up on Wednesday, September 4th we are hosting the TS BANK youth rally! Last year we called this the Reach Project. The Reach project is an opportunity that we have to preach the message of Jesus to students in our local communities. Last year through this event we saw over 60 people recommit or commit their lives to Christ! So…. this is an amazing event!! This year our church will be hosting Eric Samuel Timm. This guy has a very unique ministry where he captivates his audience with a live art performance as he teaches. Eric’s words are powerful, and when he paints, you will see art speak louder than words. To volunteer as a part of the altar care team you can click the link below .
The riverside football season is right around the corner and for the 2nd year we will be hosting OVERTIME!! This is a huge afterparty for the students at Riverside High School where we provide food, games, music and prizes. Last year we saw around 150 - 170 students come down the hill to participate in this afterparty. This is a huge opportunity that we have as a church to reach out to the city of Oakland, and we want to extend an invitation for you to come and help be apart in giving back to our community. We will be partnering with, Impact hill, Carson methodist, Oakland methodist, and Oakland Christian church to provide a fun and safe environment for the students of riverside high school.
CURRENT SERIES, “KINGDOM CULTURE!”
The Church was never meant to end in a room, but to change the world. Whether your influence is global or relational, a school or workplace, a home or community, come be equipped during our Kingdom Culture series the next 2 months. Together we will explore how core values and culture bring lasting change.

You might expect us to say something like “it’s better to give than to receive.” But if we truly look at it as God would have us, it’s better to give what we receive. Through God, we receive many things – our talents, finances, opportunities, possessions – and in return, He asks that we give back only a portion. It is through this commitment that we enable more hearts to be reached, more lives to be changed, more souls to be stirred, more families to be brought together and more hope to be shared. With Him, there is as much receiving as there is giving. And we are thankful for the resources with which we are entrusted through his faithful provision to each of you.
“God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.” II Corinthians 9:8
